Federal officials said Monday they are pursuing civil penalties against two more passengers for interfering with airline crews, the latest in a surge of such cases in recent months.
The Federal Aviation Administration said it is continuing to take a zero-tolerance stance against unruly passengers.

IAF & Indian Navy continue to provide critical COVID-19 medical supplies to civil authorities
New Delhi, May 12 (UNI) Continuing its efforts round the clock to provide critical Covid related supplies to the civil administration across the country, the Ministry of Defence on Wednesday informed that so far, the Indian Air Force (IAF) has airlifted 403 oxygen containers of 6,856 Metric Tonnes (MT) capacity along with other equipment of 163 MT capacity, taking a total of 634 sorties from different parts of the country.
The cities covered are Jamnagar, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Panagarh, Indore, Ranchi, Agra, Jodhpur, Begumpet, Bhubaneshwar, Pune, Surat, Raipur, Udaipur, Mumbai, Lucknow, Nagpur, Gwalior, Vijayawada, Baroda, Dimapur and Hindan, the officials in the Ministry said. ....

ISLAMABAD: Rivalries among different services within the civil bureaucracy have pushed the civil service to a new low. The most recent example of this divide was the statement issued by the All Pakistan Provincial Management Services Officers Association against Chief Secretary Punjab for condemning the humiliating treatment meted out to the Assistant Commissioner Sialkot by the Punjab CM’s media adviser Firdous Ashiq Awan.
The association in its statement said on Monday that the officers belonging to the provincial services stand by the provincial government and will not allow any federal service or its top representative the chief secretary in this case to blackmail the province because of one incident. Significantly, the provincial association did not condemn the incident that had attracted a great deal of media attention. ....
